We stayed over the July 4th holiday. The cabin was nice but we were disappointed
that we were not able to see the firework display from the cabin. We also ran out of toilet paper!

The cabin was nice and roomy, we loved the pool table and the view. One problem for us was that the stairs were difficult for our grandparents.
Also, the parking was a little difficult for the variety of cars we had.
All and all we still had an enjoyable stay.

Have to say, we called looking for the special "gas card" being offered
for Big Bear, but, we really appreciated saving more money on the rates than getting money for gas!
With money being so tight we thought we were going to have to make Big Bear just a day trip until we came across your website.
We couldn't believe the cabin we got for the price we paid! Please thank the owner for allowing you to offer their cabin at the price we paid.
Being a small family on a tight budget it made all the difference in the world!

The cabin we stayed in had a hunting theme to it, some of the kids had trouble understanding
why there were these animal skins and heads in various places. The adults took it
in stride and enjoyed the mountain atmosphere it gave. The kids did like the pool table and their own tv and den.

We arrived at the cabin and initially all was well, however, the hot tub gave us a little trouble the next day without warning. My immediate thought was that this was something that would never get fixed before we had to leave. Making a call to the office I had expected to hear excuses as to the issues. I am happy to post that a negative was turned into a positive by the office staff taking their time help see the issues through without leaving us hang.
The hot tub was a very important part of our time relaxing and I was highly disappointed when there was a problem.
We stayed over the July 4th holiday, knowing that it is a busy time I just made the assumption that the hot tub experience was
a dead option for the remainder of our stay. Between your staff and Timberline Spas you really went above and beyond to make
every effort to turn a negative into a livable situation. We can't thank you enough. You made us feel as though our wishes were important, that we were

We rented Elk Lodge, Gold Rush, & Chipmunk lodge for our family holiday! Wow, each cabin has its own charm, all gave us the perfect feeling of mountain ambience as well as providing all the comforts of home! It would be hard to choose which cabin was the best, all of us agreed that we liked many things about each cabin. Each one having special touches of their own that all of us could appreciate. The location was convenient to everything, we couldn't have wanted for anything more. Were planning to return this winter.

We had such a wonderful time in Big
Bear. Your cabin was so cozy. We loved everything (the great scents, the warm & comfy bedding, the jacuzzi, the squirrel & bird feeders, and the mints). Also, we loved the DVD you created of your mountain home, your pride shows! Allowing guests to take one home is the perfect souvenier to show others how wonderful the cabin is! The decorations were spectacular. We are from Florida and this was our first trip to California. What a great memory!! The kids (ages 5 & 7) got to have snowball fights as we woke up to a fresh snowfall. Skiing was great! We even did a hike. We spent hours on line looking for the perfect mountain home and I think we found it. Cedar Creek is the best, Thank you again.

I know this may sound funny but with all the options of cabins on the internet I made my decision on the pictures and also on the guest book comments. I enjoyed reading what others had to say, they inspired me and gave me just that little extra to help in my decision making. Our family had a great time at Elk Lodge, the floor plan was very comfortable. The large sectional sofa was perfect for us to spread out, even when we wanted to lay down and watch some TV. We also appreciated the close proximity to the marina and the discounts we got on boat rentals from your company. We took a pontoon out for a picnic on the lake. The beds in the cabin are very comfortable and thoughtfully placed for sleeping a lot of people comfortably. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable and very much appreciated by all of us! Definately a noteable issue. The neighborhood was also good for easy walking, which we did each morning and evening. Loved the Hot Tub with all the color changing effects! WOW, what a show!!! The lounger area of the tub was great for star gazing at night. You can see a million stars at night, we were lucky enough to see a shooting star when we were in the hot tub. I could say much more about the cabin but do want to touch on the prices. When comparing what we got, I KNOW we got value for our money.....that is always a winner with me!! I can go on and on, I feel I should since reading the comments here helped me make my decision to stay with your company.
Another positive is the pleasant experience I had in the reservation process. Your friendly demeanor was refreshing, I really feel you enjoy what you do!
Anyway, I hope that my comments can help the next person who is troubled over making a choice with so much to choose from. We are planning a return visit and won't hesitate to post our next comments on our return visit. Thank You For A Great All Round Experience!

I looked for days and who knows how many countless pictures before settling on a cabin. The internet pictures of Rustic Romance doesn't do the property justice! Don't get me wrong, they are nice pictures, but, when we arrived at the cabin, It was awesome! The views from every corner are undescribable and the area gave a feeling of seclusion! It was exactly what we needed. We watched fish jumping out of the water right from the kitchen table. Also saw a hawk swoop down from the sky to do his own fishing!
We brought a canoe and launched it from the shore, extremely convenient and a very pleasurable excursion. Staying on the lake has its advantages, once you have this experience it would be hard to do it different. Thanks again for offering such a great place!

We had a wonderful weekend in Cedar Creek! It was the perfect getaway from L.A.. We experienced some sunshine and plenty of thunder and lightning storms, but, no complaints. My boyfriend and I experiended every kind of climate in two hours in Big Bear Lake, not to mention a down pour but still no complaints because we were well prepared and had a pontoon boat with a tent cover. The place is so lovely, with its romantic fireplace and the relaxing jacuzzi, it was just what we needed. This place makes you feel like you're far from home and makes you forget all your worries. This cabin is the ideal place for a couple, deeply in love, spending time together and focusing on one another. My boyfriend chose this place as a getaway for my birthday and I am ever so thankful and impressed by the beauty of nature and how we don't take advantage of all this nature around us. We will definately be returning in the near future. We certainly appreciate the beauty around us a lot more. It was the best escape!

Our family had the most incredible time! We visit Big Bear often but have never experienced the quality of cabin and service we got from your company. Gold Rush was just perfect for our large group, enough room for all of us to be comfortable. The many TVs offered in the home was too good to be true, all age groups were satisfied without anyone feeling like they had to compromise. The hill on teh property was awesome for sledding. Even good enough for adults, not just for kids! Loved the pool table and the option of having extended cabin movie channels on both living room and den TVs. I can't forget to mention how much we appreciated the CLEAN cabin as well as the convenience of the linen and cleaning services! Thanks again for a great time, we will definately be back!!!!

Beating the Arizona heat was an exceptional pleasure this year! Elk lodge made our stay delightful! You were right, it had everything we could want. The pool table was great for the adults. The additional bumper pool table was fabulous for the kids. Our mens fishing weekend was awesome! Gold Rush was definately the perfect cabin for our group of guys. The boat slip we rented from you was perfect nd convenient to the cabin. The fish were jumping and so were we when we saw how great the cabin was. The BBQ was perfect to cook our catch, eating out on the deck overlooking the lake was nice as well. The pool table came in handy for the evening socializing. We hope we can do it again soon.

One adorable cabin! Cedar Creek is without a doubt the cutest little cabin anyone could wish for. We loved snuggling in the cozy living room by the fire! Our kids liked the "bear" rugs on he beds and we couldn't get enough of the relaxing hot tub! The wildlife that visits Cedar Creek is very entertaining! Chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, lots of birds. The owners feeders are welcoming the little critters and we enjoyed the free show!

Santa Claus was great! The kids were stunned to see him walk through the door.
