The mountain community is located at an altitude of nearly 7,000 feet. They enjoy moderate temperatures in both the summer and winter. The summer temperatures barely reach the eighties. Although Big Bear can experience the full brunt of winter, most days reach the forties. Snowboarding and skiing doesn’t get much better. Remember to bring the sun tan lotion.

Because the east valley is high desert, the weather is moderate enough to allow for hiking, camping and off-road driving most days of the year.
